Easy to install and good software to manage the camera features.
The picture is excellent and the microphone is very receptive. I can't think of anything I'd want in a web camera that this hasn't got.

In comparison to my last review on the somewhat disappointing Lifecam VX-6000 from Microsoft I can safely say that the Logitech Quickcam Pro 9000 is in a different league. Installation of the software is a breeze, picture quality, audio quality is excellent. Auto focus and face tracking works well. Still pictures can be taken at 8mega pixels and there is a HD setting in webcam mode. Video effects are OK if you like that sort of thing. Vista sidebar tools can be downloaded free from Logitech. If you are thinking of buying the Lifecam VX-6000 think again, spending the extra tenner on the Logitech gives you so much more. Works equally as well on VISTA an XP.

Great quality picture on the video and good sound. Auto focus is not bad, but you may have to reposition yourself if you move about too much as it can blur and find it hard to re-adjust straight away.
Dont bother with the face tracking-its not brilliant, but the cartoon faces etc are fun.
